Programming the GoSight

Configuration in MyGeotab - On-board camera - GoSight

  • Use MyGeotab, in the GoSight section, to associate the camera with the right vehicle. Click on the white rectangle and select the attached unit.

  • Save your changes.

  • Select the appropriate rules. Note that AI rules are only available on the Pro plan. Example:

  • Save your changes.

Consult a recording

Make a custom request - On-board camera - GoSight

  • Go to the GoSight section of MyGeotab to consult a record. Select the "Custom request" option.

  • Select :
    • 1. Device
    • 2. Date time
    • 3. Duration
    • 4. Video type
    • 5. Main frame

  • Click on "Submit".

  • Click on "Options".
    • 1. Select the vehicle.
    • 2. Press "Apply changes".

  • On the right, you'll see recorded videos, if any, and pending requests. Select the vehicle to continue.

  • View the recording by selecting the one you want. If your video is loading, please wait a few minutes and then refresh your screen.

View event videos - On-board camera - GoSight 

  • Navigate to the GoSight tab on the MyGeotab platform and click on "Options." Then, proceed with the following steps:
    • 1. Select the relevant rules.
    • 2. Choose either vehicles or drivers.
    • 3. Click "Apply changes."

  • Click on the vehicle to view the associated videos. The total number of available videos and the number of pending videos will be displayed on the right. Videos are organized either by vehicle or driver.

  • Select the video you wish to view by pressing on it. The videos are organized by event type.

  • Watch the video. Additionally, you have the option to share or download the video as needed.

Event report

Generate an event report

  • To generate an event report, go to the MyGeotab platform, then click on the GoSight tab. In "Options":
    • 1. Select vehicles or drivers
    • 2. Select rules
    • 3. Press Apply changes.

  • Click on the green download icon, and a confirmation message will appear on your screen indicating that the report is being downloaded. The report will automatically be exported in Excel format.
