Can I assign a driver to a vehicle without daily logs?

It is possible for an administrator to assign a driver to a vehicle if it has been configured beforehand in MyGeotab.

**Important** for the use of daily logs, the driver must log in via the Geotab Drive application. An administrator should not associate the driver via MyGeotab.

Driver Configuration

In order to be able to associate the driver with the vehicle, you must create them in your MyGeotab database. Since this driver will not be using daily logs, it is important that they are configured with the correct security permission.

Associating a Driver with a Vehicle

1. On the map, tap on the vehicle you wish to associate with a driver.
2. Tap on the steering wheel icon.
3. From the dropdown menu, select the desired driver.
4. Tap "Apply Changes."
5. A confirmation will be visible in a green box at the top of the screen, and the driver will be associated shortly.
