- Configuration of available mobile data
- Installation of mobile terminal mounts in vehicles
- Configuration of MyGeotab Database
- Vehicle Configuration
- Unit name, license plate, state/province
- Accurate odometer reading
- Vehicle serial number (VIN)
- Trailer Configuration
- Trailer configuration (unit and plate in title)
- User Configuration
- Creation of users on the MyGeotab platform
- Creation of two distinct accounts if an administrator is a driver
- Creation of users in the Geotab Drive app (drivers)
- First and last name match driver's license
- Driver's license number without hyphens
- Rule Set
- Valid home terminal name and address
- Carrier number (US DOT or NIR)
- Authority name and address (as registered with FMCSA or CTQ)
