2- ELD Regulation
According to regulations regarding Hours of Service and Rest;
VEHICLES COVERED
- A motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 4,500 kg or more:
- Truck
- Tractor-trailer
- Equipment transport vehicle, for example, a crane mounted on a truck chassis
- A combination of motor vehicles where at least one vehicle has a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,500 kg or more
- A tow truck
- A vehicle transporting dangerous goods requiring the affixing of hazard placards
