Samsung Tablets
Connect the IOX-USB to the Geotab modem, then run the wire through the vehicle to the base of the terminal, install the optional mounting rod and install the base on the mounting rod. Connect the wire from the IOX-USB to the wire on the base. At the bottom of the box, install the rugged protective case over the Samsung tablet and slide the terminal into the cradle.
Mounting rod (optional)
The mounting rod must be permanently installed on the vehicle's dashboard.
Cradle
Install the base on the mounting rod.
Protective case
The protective case is found in the Samsung box. Simply install it on the tablet.
IOX-USB
The IOX-USB includes an auxiliary USB power adapter to charge and power the devices. With the IOX-USB cable, the driver can use applications, such as Geotab® Drive, without worrying about battery life and power.

Disconnect the Geotab GO device from the vehicle and remove the IOX expansion port cover on the GO device
Connect the 90° USB connector of the IOX to the GO device. Secure the USB connector with a tie-wrap. Please note that over-tightening the zipper tie may damage the USB connector.
Note: Insert the USB connector in the orientation shown in the image.
Choose a suitable location to install or conceal the IOX-USB cable.
Note: Choose a location where the IOX-USB will not interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.
If the installation of the device is permanent, secure the USB plug and USB connector together with electrical tape or other suitable method.
