Locate the vehicle's engine diagnostic port, usually located in the driver's area at or below knee level.
Note: It is strongly recommended to use a vehicle-specific harness to ensure a permanent installation.

Align the receiver end of the unit with the engine diagnostic port and push into place. Make sure the unit is connected to the diagnostic port. Once connected, the unit will emit 6 rapid beeps.

Once the unit is connected and powered, the lights on the front of the unit will begin to flash and then stay on after the following actions are completed:
Red light: Device configuration
Green light: Cellular network connectivity
Blue Light: GPS network connectivity
The units beep twice every 60 seconds during setup. Initial start-up may take several minutes.

Once all three LEDs are permanently lit, you will hear 10 quick beeps. Secure the device using the supplied tie-wrap.
Note: The device is considered installed when the green and blue LEDs become solid.

When doing under-dash installations with a Y-harness, make sure the side of the antenna is pointing up toward the sky for faster GPS lock times. The GPS antenna on the GO9 is located on the bottom of the unit.

Go to installmygps.com to verify that the device is communicating. In the space provided, enter your name, company name and the serial number of the GO device - found on the bottom of the device. Click on save installation.

After clicking on save installation, the web page displays the current communication status of the device in GREEN or RED. If the device is communicating, the status is displayed in GREEN text. If the device is not communicating, the status is displayed in RED text.
Note: If the device is not communicating, make sure the GO device is properly installed and try again.
