During a roadside inspection in Canada, the regulations indicate that the driver must be able to send the requested data to the inspector. In the event that the controller is unable to do so, it is possible for an administrator to send the data by e-mail.
Important
The "Transfer" mode does not work in Canada even if the email option is present. You will get an error message since these are encrypted files and Canada does not have the infrastructure to receive them.
To transmit your driver's logs you must :
- Go to the Activity tab of MyGeotab > HOS > Logs.
- Select the last 14 days using the "Custom" button in the "Date Range" section
- Select the driver
- Press Apply changes
Once the data is displayed, press "Print" and save in PDF format.
Please note that It is possible that the visual for saving in PDF is different depending on your browser.
Once the PDF is saved, simply send the file as an attachment to your company email to the address the controller gave to your driver.
