      Vehicles : How to make a vehicle historical (archive) ?

      ⚠ Important Warnings:

      • It is essential to archive vehicles in Geotab.
      • For compliance purposes, you must keep location history, circle checks, electronic logs, IFTA reports, etc.
      • Make a vehicle historical does not end the billing, you must open a support request in order to suspend or cancel the monthly plan.

      In order to make vehicle historical , follow these steps in order:

      1. Physically remove the Geotab device from the vehicle
      2. Make the device (vehicle) historical
      3. Add old device number in MyGeotab
      4. Configure the vehicle (see article)
      5. Notify AttriX of any changes to the monthly plan

      To archive an asset :

      1. Assets
      2. Select the vehicle
      3. Press Unplug device
      4. Archive assets
      5. If necessary, notify AttriX of any modification regarding the monthly plan

       Add a device into your data base
